On February 01, 2024 on the basis of the Faculty of Foreign Languages there was held a training of students of ЕP "Foreign language: two foreign languages" in the conditions of informal learning. The training was moderated by V. Garifov, a guest speaker CEO and Founder at Q Core Center. The training was aimed at developing students' soft skills, at revealing the basics of goal-setting as a process of taking concrete steps to achieve a goal, which is an important factor in the professional activity of future foreign language teachers. The format of non-formal education allows to create conditions for the realization of educational services and human needs in professional development, mastering new technologies, providing opportunities to master personal and professional competencies. This is a format of transition from the established concept of "final education" to the concept of "lifelong learning", providing more convenient, flexible, personalized directions for obtaining knowledge. The training was aimed at analyzing the wheel of balance, Maslow's pyramid, defining the role in society, considering work-life balance and allowed the trainees to express themselves on the topic of training, discuss problematic issues, defend their point of view, reflect, which really created a platform for informal learning of new knowledge.This training was organized within the framework of the implementation of the grant-funded research project at the Faculty of Foreign Languages under the theme IRN AR19678268 "Scientific and methodological foundations for the implementation of professional foreign language training in the conditions of convergence of formal and non-formal higher education"
