In June 2020 the "AE MOOC Facilitated Sessions" project was successfully accomplished the goal of which

was to raise awareness of participants - EFL teachers and students on the use of massive open online resources (MOOC) in learning English based on the online resources of the Regional Office of English Language Programs, the US Embassy. The project was conducted in 14 cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the assistance of 18 facilitators. Thanks to this project more than 300 EFL in- and pre-service  teachers (MA and PhD researchers) got acquainted with a number of web platforms (Quizlet, GooseChase, Pollev, YouGlish, etc.) and active tools for teaching English. They were able to prepare for distance learning at the right time. More details in the Projects section
