This summer 2025, I had the opportunity to take part in the C5+ONE workshop in Almaty on English for Specific Purposes for English teachers. The program was a unique experience that combined professional learning with creative and interactive activities. Our trainers from the United States gave us a great sense of freedom in learning - their open, supportive style made the sessions both effective and enjoyable. I developed my communication and leadership skills, while also gaining new insights into contemporary teaching methods. What stood out most was the relaxed format of the sessions - whether in the park, through games, or in interest-based clubs which encouraged self-expression and creativity. Beyond the classroom, spending time with international colleagues, exploring the city together, and joining cultural events like Qazaq Fest made the experience even more meaningful. Overall, it was an inspiring journey that I am excited to share with my colleagues and future teachers.
