KazTEA expresses its gratitude to the U.S. Department of State and Public Affair Section for sponsoring the Media Literacy training for 40 EFL & STEAM teachers. The training is targeted at enhancing teaching social media competences within blended EFL & STEM teaching
Objectives:
- Raise 40 EFL & STEM teachers’ awareness about Media Literacy aspects
- Identify types and format of instructions to embed ML instructions into General Englishand STEM subject classes
- Adapt or write ML instructions within English and STEM subject curriculum to increase students’ resilience to mis-and disinformation
